Question : I am allergic to sulfa medication apparently and have broken out. I stopped the medicine 3 days ago and still am breaking out as it is clearing my system. How long til I am back to normal and my hives/rash go away? Anything I can do to help speed this along?

Rash may last for 1-2 weeks.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir.

I understand your query and concern.

It may last for 1-2 weeks on average for the rash to go away.

But the drug may leave the body much earlier to this.

In order to speed up your recovery,I advise tab Deslor 5 mg once a day at bedtime for 5 days.

Single shot of Intramuscular Inj of Hydrocortisone 100 mg will offer great and quick relief.

Please note the suggested medications have to be taken under strict medical supervision.
