Question : My grandmother is bedridden and wearing diapers vecause of which she has got rashers near urine place.can you suggest any measures we can do at home to relief her

I understand your concerns. Normal preventative measures are to reduce heat, moisture and friction.

You can try these measures:
- Use Absorb powder this helps reduce the heat and moisture.

- Soak in a warm water bath or a sitz bath several times a day can also offer relief.

- Before putting her into diapers liberally apply a zinc oxide ointment or other high quality barrier cream or skin repair cream to the affected area. This will act as a moisture barrier and speed healing.

- Encourage her to increase their fluid intake, particularly of water or cranberry juice. That will make her urine less concentrated and less irritating to her skin.
