Question : I have a mild rash on my arms near elbow...its appearing after itching nd go away in a day...its red but not like pimple...can it be a hiv rash???It is happening with me from more than a week.

I have uploaded the picture. I didnt use any new soap or detetgent . Also didnt try any new food.

I have seen the pictures

It seems like a hypersensitivity reaction of skin not related to HIV

I would recommend you take antihistamine like allegra(fexofenadine) for three days once a day preferably at night apply calamine lotion for symptomatic relief.

Also suggest to do absolute eosinophil count (AEC) which aids in diagnosis.
