Question : skin rash on upper right leg. What the heck is causing it?

I have had chicken pox. the rash somewhat resembles this

I can make an appt monday. If it is shingles, what do I do? What could it be besides shingles? I do not think I had contact with poison ivy or something.

It can be most likely due to shingles(herpes zoster). In such case antiviral drugs like valacyclovir orally and acyclovir cream for local application helps.
