Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for the query under health care magic.I have read it & understand your concern.
Skin rash restricted only to trunk, without any troublesome symptoms in a toddler can be -
- Rash due to sensitivity to the clothing material,
- exposure to sun/ heat/ cold .
- Some food allergy some times not associated with itching.
-vitamin deficiency ( vitamin A, zink, vitamin c) can cause unhealthy skin.. which gets dry, with rashes.( due to nutritional deficiency)
- fungal infection of a totally covered , damp skin can have rash ..usually associated with itching( may be not prevalent in beginning in a child)
* Skin is mirror of health so... though it does not cause symptoms at present...it may cause more serious symptoms ( like eye symptoms in Vitamin A deficiency )& so it is advisable to get the thing evaluated & treated in the beginning only,
Please consult her pediatrician .. after having a through check up of her health, he will advise specific treatment / refer you to skin specialist if he feels so.
* Baby care-
- Daily bathing with soft glycerin soap, warm water after a body massage
with olive oil will maintain skin health .
- use of loose fitting cotton or hosiery clothes
- A nourishing diet with milk, egg, soups, salads, fruits, cooked cereals & vitamin drops .
- Avoid allergens if specified or observed to cause the rash
Thus with careful baby care & doctor's advise you can point the cause of the problem with specific management & overcome present skin problem & prevent further progress of the problem.
I hope the answer is informative & useful to you. Any follow up query you have , please feel free to ask.
Thanks.
