Brief Answer:
Dengue with cutaneous rashes

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
Your wife seems to have developed maculo-papular rash involving the extremities which is part of manifestation of dengue fever. This kind of rash usually occurs near the time of defervescence. How long she has been having dengue fever?
Dengue is a viral fever. There is no effective anti-viral drug for Dengue. Treatment is mainly symptomatic but she needs close watch for few days.
Itchiness of rash will subside with simple anti-histaminic such as Levocetrizine (5 mg orally daily for 3-4 days -standard dose ).
Her platelet count is low but well above 20,000/c mm i.e. the level below which platelet transfusion (usually single donor) is considered.
If possible you may upload close-up of part of limbs having rashes to exclude any scattered petechiae.
