Suggest Treatment For Reaction To Valium Before A Face Lift

Question : Hi,
I had a face lift. The Dr. Gave me Valium to take 1/2 hour before surgery. I did not react well to the medication.
I still have a little more to do because of the way the Valium affected me. What is another medication I can take that won't affect me that way.

Dont take any sedative or Alprazolam.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX Valium can have effects on people who are not used to it and can be strong. You can avoid medicines as it is not necessary to take any sedatives. I usually advise patients Alprazolam to relax as it is a good anti anxiety agent with much lesser effect than Valium. All the best and do let me know if there ard any other queries. Take care.
