Brief Answer:
Dietary management and medications mentioned below may be tried.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for posting the concern in HCM.

Acne, particularly in oily skin, is common at your age. And also this is a problem that can come and go.
You have given me a history of recurrent acne problem. You haven't yet mentioned any medication you took before.

Now, I need to tell you first that to prevent recurrent acne two things are needed-
1. Good diet
2. Good care of facial skin
Avoid oil more than 2 tablespoons a day and avoid high fat diets. Rather high fiber diet will be helpful. That will also regularize the bowel habit. Along with the same, plenty of oral fluid should be consumed.

Secondly, you need to clean your face with face wash containing salisylate, like Salilac face wash twice daily and extra wash after you come home from outside.

You should also avoid using any cosmetic product including creams, lotions, face wash etc. other than those advised by a doctor.

You should avoid rubbing the cheeks as well and picking any acne.

Now, regarding the treatment you may apply the following-
Persol AC 2.5 gel - a pinch over affected area at bedtime and wash face coming morning.
You may also need Isotretinoin and antibiotic like Azithromycin. That depends upon treatment response to Persol AC.

You also need to do some investigations.

Blood for complete blood count, LFT, urea, creatinine

I also need information whether you have any disease like Diabetes, hypertension, cardiac problem, liver disease, renal problem at present.

Please get back to me after 7 days of treatment and attached scanned copies of all the investigation reports and the image of the lesions.

You may also consult your local dermatologist regarding further treatment.
