Question : Recently, ive been getting mouth sores or cankar sores, on and off! I've done mouth wash and drinking milk. I'm also getting spots in side the buccal area, dots. I an sending you pictures. Im just worried If its somethingn serious. Check it out. Like little dots

1. The dots in the images are Fordyce's spots. These are normal and no treatment is required.

2. Th oral ulcers are most likely to be aphthous ulcers. Common causes include stress, acid reflux, dental & gum problems, infections, dehydration, allergy, vitamin deficiency and mineral deficiency. Treatment, therefore is based on these conditions.

3. Local medicated gels (such as amlexanox) promote healing and rebamipide (Rebagen) will also help besides treatment of the underlying causes.
