Brief Answer:
Better to get done ecg first.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, in my opinion, you should first rule out cardiac cause.
So get done ecg first. If ecg is normal, then no need to worry much for cardiac disease.
Stress and anxiety can cause similar symptoms.
So consult psychiatrist and get done counseling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution.
You may need anxiolytic drugs too.
So avoid stress and tension. Be relax and calm. Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
1-2 month of treatment is sufficient enough.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on HCM.
With proper counselling and treatment, usually 1-2 months of treatment is sufficient to relieve stress and anxiety.
In some cases upto 6 months or 1 year treatment is required.
So duration of treatment is not fixed. It depends on your stress level and your response to drugs and counselling therapy.
So consult psychiatrist first and identify your stressor in life. Than start appropriate treatment.
Hope I have solved your query.
