
Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Cold Infection

Question : Dear sir,
My wife (age 29 ) is suffering from cold regularly. I have consulted with some of doctors also. They are saying it may be a allergy. She is a teacher and riding scooter around 20km daily. She also taking necessary action to prevent her from pollution.it is a very serious concern for me as my son (2 years) also suffering due to this problem.
Sir please suggest me what should I do?should she change her foodie or life style or any thing else.

Your wife is suffering from Chronic Allergic Rhinitis as per your description.
I would recommend in such case to use mask while she travels.
Since this is an allergic response of body, so to be honest can't be treated permanently that is can't be cured.
So , precautions along with regular steam inhalation helps.
In acute states or seasonal chances I prefer to prescribe my patients Fluticasone nasal spray that can be taken for 3 weeks initially.
Writer back to me after 3 Weeks of the treatment.
