Brief Answer:
Dur to allergic reaction.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic.

Most often cough and cold is due to certain viral infections. But they can also be due to allergic reactions. Allergic reactions can also precipitate wheezing and respiratory distress due to reactive airway disease. Her family history (maternal) confirms the risk. The solution would be to take Montek LC Kid (monteleukast + levocetirizine) [prescription medicine] once daily off and on as and when required. Steam inhalation during the episodes would provide some relief. An allergy test may be done and the identified allergens would need to be avoided. Nebulisation with asthalin will help in reducing the respiratory distress as per requirement.

Let me know if I could help further.

we give her Nebulisation with asthalin almost daily from last 3 months as per doctors advice . from last 3 years we gave Nebulisation with duoline once in a month.
Q1. Is there a side affect of nebulization.
Q2. Is the problem curable, will she get cure in long term or become Asthma patient when she grows up.Where can we take her to get cured.
Q3. Any food / vegetable recommended to cure .
