Brief Answer:
Recurrence Cystitis is due to Post Menopausal Urethral Stenosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have recurrent episodes of Cystitis .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Are you diabetic?

The basic primary reason to get recurrent episodes of Cystitis is what is called as Post Menopausal Urethral Stenosis.

During post menopausal period all the genital organs are atrophied which also involves urethral passage resulting in to narrowing of urethral passage (Urethral Stenosis). This stenosed urethra causes incomplete emptying of bladder during urination and some amount of urine remains in bladder what is called as post void residual urine .

This stagnated residual urine is the source of repeated infection.

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to

You need to calibrate (Widen ) the urethral passage endoscopically.Discuss this modality with your Urologist .

This dilated urethra has to be maintained by doing self dilation with female dilator every day at home for 3 months so as to maintain the urethral passage wide open .This will help to empty the bladder completely during every time you pass the urine and there by prevent infection.

In the mean while take appropriate antibiotic as per culture report.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
