Question : hi good day,
my kid is 5.11 yrs old and he is suffering from 100.2 F temp for the past 4 days . when we give Calpine it will reduce and again reappear. we have consulted a medical practitioner today and she prescribed antibiotics and suggested blood test . I have the report and it is attached. please suggest us .

I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns.
Is he having asthma or allergy? Any other problem like burning micturation ? What are other complaints with fever?
As far as lab reports are concerned FBC appear normal and doesn't points towards acute infection. Raised IgE levels shows any allergic conditions. His vit D levels are low.
He should be prescribed with inj vit D weekly , and anti allergic medicines. This history doesn't give me any clue regarding the focus of infection. So I really can't comment about it. You should answer my questions in order to find the focus for fever.

Thanks for your advice. nothing is visible but he is sneezing a lot. pls see the attachment for his current prescription. I didn't understand the word "micturation"

Micturation means urination. I have seen the prescription it labels that he has got respiratory tract infection for which he has been prescribed medication. I really advise levofloxacin 750 mg once a day for five days in this setting along with anti allergic medications.
