Question : I have been using Urinol an advanced form of allopurinol for 3 weeks and my gout attack has hactually gotten worse

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that , these agents are urate lowering therapy and starting these drugs in acute phase can actually worsen the problem that happened with you .
For tackling acute attack either NSAIDS like Naproxen or zycolchicine should be added and after that urate lowering therapy should be started . You can talk to your treating doctor regarding this .
