Question: I've had loose stool on and off for several weeks. Should I go to my doctor? I don't have any other symptoms and nothing seems to make it better or worse.

Brief Answer:
Loose stools off and on that do not bother you otherwise may be due to dietary effect

Detailed Answer:
Hi welcome to HCM,

Loose stools episodes off and on that do not bother you otherwise may be due to diet.
Probiotics are good, continue them.

Try soya milk, yogurt, carrot soup, bananas, and a bland diet-- avoid high protein, fried, spicy, tea, coffee, colas and chocolates for two weeks and see whether it goes away.

If despite following these, it persists, get a stool microscopical examination done, and report it to your doctor then.

Regards
