I was having lots of pimples during my teen age, after my college skin had become very clear.. from past 5-6 months I stated getting pimples again.. Whats the reason???

A year back, I also became very dark when I travelled for a week & didn't regain my original complexion. So my doctor gave 1. Kojivit gel & 2. Fluticasone Cream I.P - Flutivate skin cream.

Skin became fine but from 5-6 months getting pimples problem & black marks. Pls help

Brief Answer:
Stop flutivate; oral and topical antiacne preparations

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have gone through your query and I have also reviewed the Images.

Flutivate cream is a topical steroid and should not be used on face for longer than 2 weeks. It can cause acne as a side effect. The cream worsens acne either during or soon after discontinuing it and is surely not an antiacne product; it should therefore be stopped.
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest an Oral antiacne antibiotic e.g doxycycline 100 mg twice daily for at least 2-4 weeks.
Topically you may apply an antiacne antibacterial gel e.g either clindamycin 1% gel or benzoly peroxide 2.5% gel during day time. At night you may apply adapalene % gel over the whole of affected area.
A gentle cleanser for face wash i.e cetaphil cleansing lotion is what I would suggest, to be used twice daily.
This treatment will also help lighten marks resulting from acne.
These are all prescription medications and should be used under supervision of a dermatologist. Therefore suggest that you visit a dermatologist in your region for the needful.
