Question: My partner gets sick quite often and she pukes for up to 2 to almost 3 weeks sometimes. She is sick more than she is healthy. Everytime she gets sick after first couple days she will start puking this foamy stuff. It would get slightly bad sometimes but this time it's very thick and it's bubbling as in like acid bubbles and it really stinks. So I'm really worried about what to do cause I can't call or text anyone. I just google the foamy bubbling and all I could find with the same symptoms or close to them. Has something to do with twisted intestines. I'm not sure though I don't know

Brief Answer:
Gastritis with Dyspepsia.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic for your query,

Most likely your symptoms are because of reflux disorder overlapping dyspepsia.

Suggestions are:

- Firstly I would suggest her to swich to nexium from omperal. Initially take it 40mg twice daily, However if not relieved doses can be increased to 80mg twice a day.
If still not relieved add,
-Levosulpiride- It is a sulpiride isomer and exerts its prokinetic effect by blocking D2 receptors. Recent trials have shown that combining it with PPI's have excellent effect in patients suffering from acid reflux.
Foaming and bubbling is all bercause of reflux of contents of stomach through esophagus back into mouth.
As her CT scan was normal so it can't be twisted or blocked intestines as that would have been reflected in it.

Strict adherence to the diet suggested below is required along with medications for few days-

-Take a low fat easily digestible food.
-Eat a lot of raw salads esp. vegetables.
-No alcohol or smoking.
-No aerated beverages or soda.
-Avoid meat or processed food.-Avoid cheese, Dairy, Milk etc.
.-Take a lot's of yogurt in food
.-Avoid spicy or fast food(No pizza or Burger).-If possible try vegans diet in dinner and normal diet in lunch.-Drink at least 8 cups of water everyday.-avoid all fruits which are citrus.Avoid orange or pineapple juice.-Eat 1 cups of fruit like banana daily.

If not relieved in 5 days then an upper G.I endoscopy should be done as planned.
