Hi,

I presume your query is about your son's ear symptoms. If yes, I agree with the doctors suggestion. As the allergic symptoms involving the ear has been persisting and recurring since few months, it would be worthwhile to place grommet (ventilation tubes) which will facilitate easy drainage of ear secretions and healing. Tube can be removed based on needs in future.

I hope he stays away from cat in future.
