Suggest Treatment For Recurring Diarrhea

Try cleaner water
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.
It is a common side effect of fludac.
You have done tests that have come normal and tried diet changes and nothing is working. Medicine induced diarrhea can be recurrent and unexplained sometimes. Probably your immunity got altered and you have become vulnerable to germs in daily food and water. Such type of altered immunity may not show up on tests. Anyways please upload the complete blood count report for me to view as there may be an infectious cause.
Meanwhile I will suggest you the following:
- Take more fiber in form of fruits and salad
- Can avoid fruit and milk/milk products for sometime but can be taken on longer term.
- Avoid any unnecessary medicines.
- Last but not least try drinking cleanest form of water preferably from reverse osmosis filteration system. This diet change should resolve the recurrent diarrhea. If it does not resolve with this please let me know.

Duodenitis may be due to peptic ulcer disease
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
The mild non-specific duodenitis may be due to peptic ulcer disease or may just have been caused by irritation from the medicine. If you have gastritis symptoms like burning pain in stomach, etc then you can go for antacid medicines like pantaprazole alongwith H pylori testing and treatment. Otherwise nothing much needs to be done.
I could not find the complete blood count report. This report should tell your white blood cell count - total and differential.
The report that you have uploaded shows that your liver is getting affected. It may again be due to medicine. I will suggest that you repeat liver function test in 2-3 months.
The above given advise still holds good.

Duodenitis may not cause it
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Duodenitis does not seem to be the cause of diarhea. There may be association inflammation of other parts of small intestine as well. That may be causing diarhea. So mostly you are lactose intolerant and also have symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. Try the cleaner drinking water. It should help with the symptoms.
Medicine associated diarrhea usually reverses completely by itself in 3 months. Intestine regenerates very fast and damaged areas get removed by themselves. Atmost it may take 1 year but it should recover. People do things like detox but it may have its own side effects. So better stay away from any medicines that boast to cure it.
