
Suggest Treatment For Red Bruise On Penis Shaft

Question : Hello, I have had a small red bruise on the upper part of the penis shaft for a few weeks. It is not painful. I dont recall how I got it. Does it look like anything to be concerned? How can I help it heal faster?

The photos are not clear.
It is not clear about intercourse history partner history symptoms like itching did group water filled lesions started first. Any symptoms or local lymph node swelling Etc.
It may be fungal or due to irritation or dryness or allergic or herpes.

I did have a one night stand 3 weeks ago, oral sex. I have been battling jock itch off and on actually on my scrotum. I have been using topical clotrimazole for the jock itc, however it will get better then worse again.
The small bruise like on my penis shaft does not itch like my jock itch.

Thank you for follow up query.
It may be fungal infection most probably as you already have it in the area.
Keep the area dry.
Use loose innerwears.
Clean the area with warm water twice daily.
Apply topical fungicidal like terbinafine I.e sebifin.
Once it clears you can use topical antifungal dusting powders like candid or absorb daily after bath to prevent recurrence.
Treat partner if any with antifungal cream like clotrimazole.
You both can take oral flucanazole 150 mg weekly once for 4 weeks
You can get back for any clarification else close the discussion and rate.
