Suggest Treatment For Red Cut In Penis Head

Question : Sir, I am 21 years old, two weeks ago I observed a red cut on the head of my penis (i.e.,under the skin) it was not hurting in any way, it was not irritating, not itching, no pain, Is this due to frequent masturbation(rubbing with polythene cover ) , what could be the reason? How can I get rid of it? please give some suggestion to get rid of it, I am worrying a lot.

1. If you are sexually not active and only do masturbation then probably the cut is from doing rough masturbation. It will heal on its own in a week and please apply neosporin ointment only on the cut area twice daily. Wash your genitals with warm water twice daily for a week to avoid infection

2. Masturbation within limits is a safe and pleasurable sexual activity enjoyed by most people. It is said that masturbation is normal 2 to 3 times a week and up to once a day. This basically releases sexual tension and is also lowers stress.

3. However, masturbating a lot can lead to fatigue and tiredness. Masturbation becomes a problem when your mind is busy with thoughts of masturbation and sexual nature and you are unable to concentrate on your work and study. Till you get married you can masturbate 2 to 3 times a week as per your choice till you get married.

Thank you very much sir, I am satisfied with your explanation. Actually I am not sure whether that is red cut or red mark or red Line (it is not very thin line).The red line/red cut started from the hole of the penis head and ended on middle of the penis head ,First it looked like light red but now it is somewhat dark red as I continued masturbating two more times.I am not feeling any pain and not irritating. As you prescribed I would take that medicine. Can I use "Clotrimazole Cream IP (CLOCIP)".

2. Clotrimazole is an antifungal ointment. Fungal infections in penis usually have typical appearance with itching and burning urination. If you have itching then you might be having a fungal infection and clocip might work.

Sir, I uploaded image. Sir, I am suffering back pain also during sleep, is this the problem? I don't have irritation,pain on penis head but only red marked line, I am worrying about this as it may cause problems in future.

Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. It looks to be either fungal infection or from trauma due to rough masturbation using polythene cover.

2. Please wash your genital region with warm water twice a day and apply CLOCIP-B cream which contains clotrimazole 1 % w/w, beclometasone dipropionate 0.025 % w/w. This is to be applied after wiping the glans area dry completely.

3. Masturbation should be avoided for 2 weeks and following that please do slow masturbation with lubrication jelly. Use of polythene cover for masturbation should be avoided.

4. Wear cotton inner clothes and avoid sweat formation in genital region by not wearing tight clothes like jeans for few weeks.

5. If there is no improvement in the red mark after a month then please consult a dermatologist for clinical examination.

6. Back pain during sleep might be due to sleeping posture. Please sleep on a hard surface and use a small pillow.

7. Do not share clothes with any one and avoid wearing wet clothes.
