Question : my husband has a rash on his hands and feet. The rash on his hands is just really small red dots that kinda of resemble splinters. They are causing his hands to be very sensitive to touch on the pads of his fingers. What could this be from? He works in the words as a log hauler and has to trim the limbs off the trees he hauls. Could this be an allergic reaction to something?
Brief Answer:
Allergic contact dermatitis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
It is looking like allergic contact dermatitis.
Soaps and oils might aggravate the condition.
I treat such cases with topical steroids like ointment clobetasol.
He can try this cream.
This should give him relief.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
