Question : Hi Doc,

I am seeing a red rash on my biceps. Could you please check what it could be? No Pain, no itchiness or anything. I noticed it today and wondering what it could be.

Hello. thank you for writing to us.

I am Dr. Kakkar (Dermatologist and Venereologist). I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern.
I have viewed the image. Perhaps it is a petechial rash - pinhead sized purpura. A localized petechial rash such as this could be because of trauma/ vigorous scratching.
This is self resolving, however, I suggest you to take a Vitamin C supplement (Tab. Celin), once daily for a few days.

I am working out in the gym not sure if it is that. I am taking vitamin C 1000 every day.

Fine. Its good thar you are taking vit C daily but this certainly seems to be due to rubbing/ scratching/ tight sleeve clothing. This should resolve over the next 10 days. You may follow up with me after 10 days.
