Brief Answer:
How long has the lesion been there?

Detailed Answer:
Hello there,
Thanks for writing to HCM. Noted the contents.

May i know since when you have been having this lesion? Is it itchy? Is it flaky?

Being diabetic (especially if uncontrolled increases ones chance of having a fungal infection) but by the way you are describing it, that appears remote.

If you are thinking of herpes that is quite unlikely too. It would be best to examine and see the lesion first hand to have a clear cut diagnosis. In any case my advise for you if the lesion has been long standing you may want to see a dermatologist and plan a biopsy if conservative management with emollients dont show improvement in 2-3 wks.

I will be happy to answer if you have any more queries.
Warm regards.
