Suggest Treatment For Redness And Rash On Penis

Question: I have a red smooth circular rash on the side of my penis. Does not hurt or itch. At times it seems like it is healing cuz it starts to peak off and the redness goes away. After not having sex for a week it still comes back. Have had sex with the same girl for over two years now. Please help
Brief Answer:
It seems to be due to a fungal infection.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have carefully gone through the mentioned details and understand your concerns. It seems that you have got a fungal infection. However, I would insist you to post an image of the affected area so that I can better evaluate the situation. You can upload the image using the facility on the upper right of this page. It is assuring to know that you do not indulge in high risk sexual activities. However, in case of a fungal infection or this sort, application of clotrimazole lotion topically for a few days, followed by clotrimazole powder to keep the area dry, should help.
Regards
