Question : Hi, I have a red circle on my left breast, and it is a large area of redness around the nipple with clear edges. It has been there for at least a month, and recently it starts to hurt a bit when I press it. Should I be worried?

An area of redness near the nipple with clear edges is likely to be due to a fungal skin infection. It can be a superadded bacterial infection also. This needs a direct examination by a dermatologist and systemic antibiotics to control the infection that you have.
