                                            Remedy for Rosacea
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you fo writing to us
I am Dr.Kakkar (Dermatologist). I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern.
The measures available with a dermatologist to reduce redness due to rosacea may include one or more (in combination) of the following:-
-either topical metronidazole 1% (metrogyl gel/ cream), topical1% pimecrolimus or 0.1% tacrolimus , oral tetracyclines e.g Doxycycline or Minocycline, sessions of Intense Pulse Light therapy (IPL) or 585 nm flashlamp Pulse XXXXXXX Laser. I suggest that you visit a dermatologist for the needful.
In addition to these specific measures, you must also use a broad spectrum sunscreen, throughout the day and reapply every 2-3 hours, specially if outdoors.
Also use a gentle cleanser e.g Cetaphil gentle cleansing lotion for face wash, twice daily.
Avoid spicy foods and hot drinks, alcohol, extremes of hot and cold weather, strong sunlight, cosmetics that might irritate the area.
Regards
