Question : after lasik surgery can any doctor find vision correction done through lasik. is it possible to find out.
i am going to attend a medical examination for Loco pilot, they wanted 6/6 vision for both eyes. but i have +0.5R and +1.25 L sight in my eyes. so, i wanted to take lasik surgery. after lasik surgery can any doctor find vision correction done through lasik. is it possible to find out. through any equipment can any doctor find it. please answer my question.

It seems from the history that you are having refractive error and you want to undergo lasik correction for its correction.
In lasik surgery a corneal flap is raised and this can be made out by careful slit lamp examination by eye doctor.
But by gross examination it is difficult to make it.

if after two months of lasik operation, can you find it with slit lamp Exam.
please clarify my doubt.
i thought that cornea will regain its original shape, after 2 months of time. and can not find it though slit lamp exam. am i correct or not.

if yo don't mind i have another doubt regarding my query.

sir, is there any possibility to correct Refractive error of my eye, without operation. or by using medicine. please prescribe medicines to correct my eye sight.
And prescribe medicines for eye vision correction, if any.

There are no medicines which can cure refractive error.

Thank you for the follow up question. I reviewed your history and I can understand your concern.

Loco pilot post requires an eye sight of 6/6 in both the eyes without any refractive error.
Refractive surgeries like lasik can correct these refractive errors. By careful slit lamp examination ophthalmologist can find out that you have undergone lasik. But it is true as the time gap increases it becomes more and more difficult to identify that some body has undergone lasik surgery. Usually after 3-4 months it is difficult to make it that some body has undergone lasik surgery.

Unfortunately there are no medicines to correct refractive errors without doing surgery.
