                                    Brief Answer:
Antacid medication
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Have you lost weight, noticed blood in stool or vomiting or have severe loss of appetite. If yes, then see a gastroenterologist immediately. If you do not have the above symptoms, I would suggest you take a PPI like omeprazole which is available over the counter. In case your symptoms persist after 4 weeks of treatment I would suggest you to consult a Gastroenterologist as you might need a upper GI endoscopy.
Avoid fried foods, carbonated drinks, red meat, mint and chocolate flavoured foods.
Hope this helps

                                    Brief Answer:
Better than zintac
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
A PPI is a proton pump inhibitor. It is a drug which reduces acid secretion in the stomach. Omeprazole is one of the drugs which belong to this group available as omez or protonix. It is different from zintac. Infact it is better than zintac.
I should help you with your symptoms
