I am so sorry to hear about your sons’ left testicle which moves up and down the scrotum. I have reviewed this information fully and the fact that he is able to manually bring it down to the right position is good news. Generally, we would recommend surgery to correct this if it fails to stay permanently in the scrotum after 14years. Because he is still 13years old, monitoring is all that is advised now and further examination in a year to make the decision on whether to operate and pin it down or not. There is no harm in waiting and this would not affect his reproductive and sexual life with the watchful waiting approach.
