Question : Hi, I have a small lump/dent on the top right side of my head from 2 days. It hurts only when I put pressure on it. I've had tinnitus from past 8 months. Are the two related. I've had Ct scan of temporal lob e and MRI of the brain done 3 months back which were clear. Also I was diagnosed with endometrial tb for which I was treated with ATT medication for 6 months. Does the pain indicate serious health issue. Thanks

Brief Answer:
The two are not related.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms. The current dent/pain over it are not related to the old symptom of tinnitus.

They do not suggest any serious brain disease. This is also corroborated by normal MRI of brain three months ago.

As of now, you can take analgesics such as naproxen or diclofenac tablets for relief of symptoms.

If symptoms do not subside in a few days, you may visit a doctor.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
