Brief Answer:
Sciatica is likely cause. needs management

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and I understand your concern. Numbness in pelvic and torso area worsening on urination and massage with history of sciatica is likely sciatica flareup and needs evaluation of the nerve pinched and see if any intervention needed. Fibroids can cause pain also in back as well but more likely sciatica is involved. Physiotherapy sessions, workup like MRI scan of spine to see the extent of compression and consult a spine surgeon and let them decide what is best for her sciatica.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
