Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP) is the condition in which very low platelet count occur without any known reason. Most cases of ITP are related to the production of antibodies which destroy platelets.

Ayurveda way of approaching this condition is different. As there is a problem in production and destruction of blood cells will lead to such problems. We need to rule out the cause for the condition. pitta based diseased condition.

For acute decrease in platelets count papaya juice will be helpful. It is proven recently. Juice of leaves of Papaya - 2 tablespoonfuls twice daily
But once if you suffer from ITP (Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura) you need proper line of treatment.

Treatment:
1.Dasamoolaristam-20ml with 60 ml of water .
2.lohasavam -20ml with 60 ml of water.
3.sathavari legiyam- 5g twice a day.
4. Cap. Amalaki Rasayan - 2 twice daily.
5. guduchi capsules- 2 thrice a day.

Diet: should avoid non veg, junk and fatty and fried items.
Eat steamed food.
Add fig,dates in your food.
Green gram allowed.

All the above are advised in the generalized treatment for the thrombocytopenia.
You need to visit an ayurvedic physician in person to assess your constitution and make decision in designing the treatment.
Hope I answered your query, kindly get back to me for further clarification.
