Question: Had a ruptured eardrum last Thursday. Taking amoxicillin and ciprodex ear drops. Still having fluid leakage. Is this normal? Hwating loss also

A perforated eardrum usually recovers with antibiotics (local and systemic) and heals within a few weeks. Continue the antibiotics. If it persists then patching or surgery may be advised but its rarely necessary as it usually heals within a few weeks with appropriate treatment.
