Brief Answer:
Chemical peels or Microneedling are better choices

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear

Welcome to this site with your query.
I am Dr V XXXXXXX a Sr Consultant Dermatologist.

I have noted your concerns and would help you in understanding and making the most suitable choices about dealing with them.

It is indeed a practical problem that one usually encounters after weight loss.

In a case like this, I suggest the following long term strategy to my patients:

1 To take adequate amount of anti-oxidants in natural form with fresh whole fruits and vegetables.

2 To avoid sun exposure or to wear sunscreen SPF 35 or more on all days, at 1100 and 1300 hrs, even indoors.

3 To substitute caffeinated drinks with cocoa.

4 Not to smoke

5 Good exercise and sleep schedule

5 Apart from these, two very effective options are Chemical peels using Neostrata Glycolic acid and Microneedling.

Chemical peels are generally performed at intervals and are out door procedures without any downside or rest needed. Very easy to go through and totally noninvasive. Takes less than half an hour. about 10 sittings might be needed

Micro needling is s semi-invasive process with vibrating needles used to go up to superficial layers of skin to stimulate collagen manufacture. It is also office procedure and is generally done at 2 week intervals.Requires about one hour to complete. Usually 4-6 sittings needed

Both procedures are safe and have good potential for improvement in a case like yours.

Please be in touch if a clarification is needed.

Our best wishes for your fast recovery.

Have a great day!
