Brief Answer:
keep moist,betadine/saline,salicylate based cream

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through the query and understood your concern.

Usually the scab will fall off after some time. The healing process depends on the type of injury, site and any associated infection or comorbidities like diabetes.

The scalp and face has high vascularity so the scab formation will be faster. If no infection around the wound area (wound will be dry with no inflammatory signs like pain, redness, Swelling) then with the daily application of povidine iodine (betadine) lotion will help this to fall also prevent further infection. If the size is larger then salicylate based cream will help in removing the scab. Keep the wound area moist with application of normal saline or betadine lotion which will help in removing the scab.

I hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask for any further queries. I will be glad to answer them.

Wish you good health and faster recovery.
Regards
