I personally like Tresemme shampoo as it has lesser chemicals, but you can use any other brand like pantene, dove etc.

Chronic means long lasting condition. In my observation, dandruff may come and go but is never really cured. The reason is that it is just altered normal flora. When the normal flora is altered, dandruff just outgrows. Thus it is not practical to think about curing it.
