Question : I have a scratch corena how long do that usually take to heal. Also , what could help the condition.

Scratch cornea is to be treated as corneal ulcer. If it is infected then it gives more problem. Pain,watering and conjuctival congestion is to be marked. Eye is to be irrigated with sterile water. Apply antibiotic eye drop 6 hourly. Better to to keep it under pad. Next day it should be changed after sterile water irrigation. Apply ofloxacin drop as earlier. Neosporine eye ointment may be applied at bed time. In two days it should heal if not infected.There will not be any symptoms of corneal abrasion. For another few days put on dark glass.

how long about dark glasses and how long apply antibiotic is usually needed?

You can use the dark glass for ten days or so. It can be said till your other symptoms improve.Regarding antibiotic drop, once epithilisation is complete and chances of infection is ruled out. You can also stop the drop after 10 days.
