Question : I think I scratched my outside white. It is red and looks awful. Rest of eye looks ok. No bleeding. Seems to be a bit. irritated. Eyesight is fine

You believe you scratched the white part of your eye. This is called the conjunctiva. A scratch here is not anything to worry about. It will heal without any problems. It will not affect your vision. Your eye tomorrow though maybe still a little red and have a little discharge. This is to be expected. Just wash your eyelids with a mild soap to get the discharge off your eyelids.
