Considering its location, what can I do to have the best chance of avoiding scarring? It's been about 36 hours since it happened, and I'm worries about a giant scar on my forehead
Thank you!
Apply ice.

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I am sorry to know about the condition. I have looked up the attached images and have seen the blistering (and the rupture of blister) that has already occurred. This is a second degree burn and so scarring would be occurring. But since the face has a rich blood supply, the healing would be fast and the scarring minimal. As of now apply ice at the earliest. That will minimize the inflammation and thereby scarring. Subsequently apply silver nitrate creams like silverex for at least 4 times a day. They help in faster healing. Keep the areas clean and dry. Drink plenty of water and fluids.
It would still be a good idea to be under the follow up of a doctor so that he could monitor the progress related to the same.
