Question : How can I get a sooner appointment to follow up with my PCP from an emergency room visit?
Brief Answer:
Request your ER Doctor.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
Appointment is given based on the seriousness of the state.
So it's mostly the decision of your ER Doctor.
You can request him to provide you an early appointment. You may also request your PCP directly.
If you have symptoms that are troublesome you can go to your GP and request him for a referral.

I don't have a general practitioner the schedule is book into September. However I had a seizure. I also had an ear infection. both of the ER trips require me to see my general practitioner within 48 to 72 hours and that is not possible he will not give me an appointment
Brief Answer:
You should send an ER discharge letter.
Detailed Answer:
Seizures is a medical emergency which requires proper evaluation and treatment.
I suppose you should mail him your ER discharge and ask him for an early appointment and referral to a neurologist.
If he doesn't still gives you an appointment contact your insurance provider for help.
