Suggest Treatment For Sensitive Gastrointestinal Tract

Question: I am trying to find Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency and can't seem to find anything (other than for dogs). The symptoms I have had for many months seen almost overlap colitis, IBS, diverticulosis, diverticulitis, and GERD (which I already knew I had) - all of which I've been diagnosed with. What created my situation to get extremely bad was when an ENT specialist that I saw for a hoarse voice saw a couple sores on the outer edges of my ear and prescribed Cipro. ( after 8 weeks of Cipro, the white ingrown lumps continue to find new places to pop up). Unknown to me, the Cipro caused an infection of my already inflamed digestive system (giving way to the diverticulitis) . Finally, a doctor in the ER - on my 7th visit to ER - diagnosed me with Clostrium Difficile Infection and admitted me for 4 days. Though I have found great relief and am at home now, I am still very scared of any nausea, diahrea, or nausea - spending over 4 months in misery and after having seen as many doctors (including my own primary) along with blood tests, x-rays, CT scans, and the normal saline solution, no one helped like this last one. I know I am contagious but don't know for how long and don't wish to keep going to the ER should I have any similar future problems. This has not been a fun journey that I care to repeat. What are your thoughts, opinions, ideas .... XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Sensitive gastrointestinal tract.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to health care magic. I am Dr. Ganesh.

1.Sorry for what you are going through. After going through the history and symptoms what you have mentioned - i understood that you are suffering with sensitive GIT - gastrointestinal tract.

2. In this case the only thing you can do is prevention better than cure - try as much as possible to prevent the cause to GIT disturbances.

3.Proper diet control is necessary - more of salads, fruits, fibrous-diet for better bowel moment. Try avoiding spicy, junk, excessive fat containing food, alcohol and any other additives.

4.As a diagnostic ultrasound abdomen pelvis to evaluate the biliary system to find out if there is any obstruction. Finally MRI for further evaluation.

5.So please try to manage in this way, that might help, if severely symptomatic - further investigations might be needed. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query,
any thing to ask do not hesitate to ask.
