Brief Answer:
Chemical skin burn

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns.

You have recently noted sensitive scalp after doing some hair treatments. When you describe your hair after the treatment as dried and knotted that sounds like a chemical burn to the hair and to the scalp. I recommend that you not use any further extra hair products on your hair other than a mild shampoo and conditioner.

To help reduce the pain and sensitivity of the scalp you may need to use an anti-inflammatory like aspirin or ibuprofen. This will reduce pain and any redness to your scalp. You can also use a topical anti-inflammatory like cortisone to the scalp where it hurts the most.

This will all improve over the next week but you need to give your hair and scalp a little rest from hair products.

I hope I answered your question. Please contact HCM again with your medical questions and concerns
