Question : Hi and good morning,
We have talked a little about getting a urine test thinking i might have caught a UTI
yesterday it was better not as much peeing and no tingle or bite feel in the head of penis, today it is maybe a little better do you still think it could of been a UTI ? im just scared i guess

As we discussed earlier sir, it has been quite some time since the exposure am I right (more than 3 weeks)? All individuals exposed to the virus experience an outbreak of initial symptoms listed below within 1-2 weeks:

+General sick feeling
+Nausea
+Painful urination
+Flu-like symptoms
+Muscle aches
+Itching or burning sensation on or around the genitalia (this is the region where the blisters will appear)
+Blisters will appear a while after that (may be in a few days or weeks)

I understand you are scared and nervous sir, but don't worry. Your symptoms match that of a simple UTI, and there has been no indication that you could have herpes until now sir.

yes its been about three weeks, the only thing is like we talked was that there is a little burning/bite feel on the head of penis genitalia was little red a few days ago
but to day feels better, the only time i felt bad was when finding out i was exposed to herpes then i became very depressed feeling like something was wrong :(

Of course I understand, it is of course discouraging and depressing, but only once the diagnosis is confirmed. And so far you haven't shown any signs or symptoms of concern or worry to me. Keep me informed of any developments, and if I find any cause for concern I will let you know sir.

But for now, the burning on the tip or head of the penis and redness are also commonly associated with simple UTIs, so why should you get worried?

If you don't mind me saying, but your anxiety will continue until you go ahead with a test sir. A simple urine analysis and culture can help confirm the UTI and aid with treatment. UTIs do not resolve without treatment, which is why your symptoms are continuing.

Once you get the test results, and share them with me I can help you with the medication names and you can start treatment. And once you are treated, you will be symptom-free and can go ahead and live a beautiful and healthy life without any stress on your mind.
