Brief Answer:
Possible acid reflux

Detailed Answer:
Hello! Thank you for asking HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through your question and I understand.
Burning from the acid is a symptom of GERD (Acid reflux). Possibilities are you can have both GERD and ulcer.

I Would advise to do some changes in your lifestyle and take PPI (proton pump inhibitors) drugs (esomeprazole,/Omeprazole 20mg / once a day ) or anti-histamine (Ranitidine 150mg twice a day), meanwhile you wait for the doctor appointment.

Lifestyle changes: -No alcohol, no smoking
-follow a low-fat diet, avoid fried and spicy food )
-Eat small meals several times.
-Eat at least 2 hours before you go to bed.
-Don't wear tight jeans/tight garments.
-Loose weight if you are overweight.

Hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if you have any further clarifications, I will be happy to help.
Take Care!
Dr.Balliu.
