Question : I woke up I the middle of the night with severe abdominal pain and had to run to the bathroom I had diahrrea and thought I was going to vomit too but that subsided. I also had blood mixed in the diahrrea . This has continued with now bright blood clots coming out with a bit of diahrrea. The abdominal cramps are now intermittent.

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. It suggest gasteroenteritis

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I have gone through the details. So the symptoms suggest acute gastro enteritis. You will require a short course of antibiotics along with plenty of fluids like oral rehydration solution. This shoild work and symptom subside ina couple of days.
If symptoms persist, then a stool examination followed by colonoscopy may be required.

Thanks and regards
