Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain When Diagnosed With Kidney Stone

Question: After fighting groin/abdominal pain off and on for 5 days, I went to emergency room last night. CT showed 4mm kidney stone. I was given low doses of morphine until the pain finally stopped. I was sent home with RX for Hydrocodone-acetaminophen (5-325 MG) and anti nausia ondansetron (4MG). I slept well last night and have zero pain right now. Do I / should I continue to take the pain meds? Are they masking the pain? Or should I stop and only take pills if the pain returns? I've screened my urine, but see no evidence of having passed the stone.
Brief answer....you can stop the pain medicines
Detailed answer...
Hello,
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Since you don't have any pain, there is no need to take them now.
You can take them,if pain returns.
Drink plenty of water to keep flushing your kidneys.
4 mm stone is a small sized stone and can be passed by drinking plenty of water.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
