Question : Hi! So ive had this on and off right sided stomach pain thats on and off that the doctors attribute to either IBS, muscular or when im ovulating. Lately its been better, however the last two days my bowel movents have been like diahreea and whitish. I know this has happened before, like a year ago and my doctor wasnt concerned. He said that can happen from time to time. Is this true? Thank you.

Yes
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
I presume you do not have blood in stools, night time diarrhea that wake you up from sleep or any weight loss.
If it is IBS, then as your doctor said , the symptoms can recur.
Take probiotic supplements and Librax after discussing with your doctor. Drink cleaner water.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.

                                    Brief Answer:
IBS pain does not worsen with urination or bowel movements
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Since you have both abdominal pain and bowel issues, the diagnosis of IBS was considered.
The abdominal discomfort of IBS is usually felt before bowel movements and is relieved by having a bowel movement. Urination does not worsen it.
If it is muscular pain, it will be persistent and you may get relief with tylenol.

Dr.R.K
