Question : I have acid reflux and GERD ihad thev CRE bougie Balloon Dilator done 5 times in Dec 2013 and it work for about a year and i'm really sick agai !! I was wandering if you could help me what i should do !! I call one Castro today and hhis nurse said that you have to have that test done every 3 months but surely there is a another answer to this problem !!

I understand what you are going through. However, I feel that lifestyle modification is perhaps the solution that you need to look up to. You need to take small but frequent meals and back it up with proper exercise. Avoid spicy food. Take prilosec (omeprazole) once daily before breakfast as needed. If you get a upper GI endoscopy done, be sure to test for H.pylori. If present, anti-H.pylori regimen will help in attaining relief.
